“I was looking into possibilities to print some kind of logo on a shirt to show people there is West Coast Swing dancing in the Netherlands. For this purpose I wanted a logo that wasn’t related to a specific event or academy, so I decided to create my own logo.I chose for dancing Tulips because the Netherlands is worldwide known for its tulips, and therefore many people associate tulips with the Netherlands. Tulips also stand for perfect or deep love. Therefore for me the dancing Tulips symbolize a deep love for dancing. The colors red, white and blue represent the colors of the Dutch national flag. And the color orange is used because it’s the national color of The Netherlands. “ – Miranda Lam
