June success stories

Competing is one side of West Coast Swing that we will highlight once in a while. Every month we’ll try to keep track of the (WSDC) competition results of all WCS dancers who live and dance in the Netherlands. In this item we share their success stories.

In June we heard about the following successes

D-Townswing (Düsseldorf, Germany)

? Vasili Puchko and Margarita Liupustina made finals in Intermediate Stritcly

? Miranda Lam made finals in Sophisticated JnJ

? Olga Klöne made finals in Newcomer JnJ

? Paul Pronk made finals in Novice JnJ

? Margarita Liupustina, Miranda Lam, Alexandru Tanasoi and Vasili Puchko made finals in Intermediate JnJ.

Neverlandswing (Maarssen, The Netherlands)

? Paul Pronk and Mariska Visser were placed 2nd in Novice Strictly

? Manoah Bernabela won Open Strictly

? Caroline Amblard was placed 5th in Sophisticated JnJ

? Yavanna Versteeg was placed 4th in Newcomer JnJ

? Mykolas Petrauskas was placed 3rd in Newcomer JnJ

? Brenda Rademakers won Newcomer JnJ

? Mariska Visser made finals in Novice JnJ and earned her first Novice point!

? Femke Hermes was placed 5th in Intermediate JnJ

? Alexandru Tanasoi was placed 2nd in Intermediate JnJ

? Vasili Puchko and Dorethea Koletsos won Intermediate JnJ

LibertySwing (New Brunswick NJ, USA)

? Miranda Lam was placed 5th in Sophisticated JnJ

? Miranda Lam made finals in Intermediate JnJ

Congratulations with these achievements. You all made us very proud!

But ofcourse we’re also proud on everybody else that competed last month. Keep up the good work. Maybe next time you’re name is on our wall of success stories.
